How to extend the night sleep???

Hello yummy mummys

I have a NEARLY 10m old. She's sleeping through the night now but wondered if anyone else experienced this sort of thing...

She goes to bed 7.30ish. Sleeps through till 5.30am. she wants to be fed, feed her. Then she goes back to sleep on me.

She sleeps and sleeps until I wake her up about 7.45am. if I didn't wake her she's slept gone 9.

Anyhoo. I don't mind this at the moment. But wondered if anyone else has this situation, and if you found any way to extend the sleep?

She def wakes up hungry. But definitely still tired and wants to go back to sleep..tried not feeding her and it's the end of the world. Give her water but she wants milk. Try playing with her / start day but she just grumps until she gets to sleep again.

Tried stocking her up on more food/milk before sleep!

Probably just her current sleep/eat cycle!

I'd just embrace it - quick feed and back to bed! We are in a similar routine with my 16 month old - he often will sleep about half 7 to 4/5 and then comes into our bed and will sleep until around 6. He doesn't have milk overnight anymore so it's just his pattern. They change so fast that i've given up trying to make him change!

Mumofbun. I'm gonna live by your words! Change so fast, you're right. Why change them!! X

@Harrysmummy246She was up every 45mins to 2 hours for her first 8 months of life. I was as sleep deprived as theu come.

My question was because at this age "everyone" says there doesnt need to be night feeds. This isn't really a night feed...but it is because she goes back to sleep. Not immediately, takes about 45 mins to resettle.

Not complaining. As I said in my post ..I don't mind it. I was just asking if anyone else had similar experience!

@Guruluru

In my experience i find a lot of people say they don't need night feeds and then it turns out they are doing what you're doing but just don't count it as a night feed! Same with sleeping through - i could say my boy sleeps through, and often he does sleep around 10 hours straight but in reality he comes into our bed about 4/5 then sleeps a little more!
