How often do you yell at your kids and how do you deal with it afterwards?

Feeling really bad because I have just shouted at DS. I usually let him have 5 cars on his bed at night and tonight it has been tears and tantrums for an hour because he could not find one particular car. In the end I shouted and got him into bed with none. Have been back since and apologised and helped him chose some but feeling really bad. It has been a very long day and I am a SAHM with not much support from DH (alright none!). Not something I make a habit of but feeling really low now.

I shout more than I would like . Most people do but they don't admit it.

you are certainly not alone-and have no doubt that you are feeling worse about it than your little one. We are human and have limits. Its the love and care that you give them day to day that makes them happy and secure.

The most important thing is to apologise which you have done.
