10 month started screaming in their sleep, help!

My daughter was a great sleeper, she slept through three night from 10 weeks but everything has gone wrong the last 6 weeks. She moved into her big cot and slept great for the first week but then started walking up every hour or two screaming hysterically, the same kind of cries as when she falls over and bumps her head, loud and like she's in great pain. At the start we picked her up and she calmed quickly and fell asleep on my chest and could be transferred back into the cot but woke up again screaming relatively soon.

Her front teeth were coming through, she had her first cold and took a tumble from the changing table (just a shock, no injuries thank god) within 2 weeks, so we thought it was that and a sleep regression / separation anxiety, but 6 weeks later it's still happening. She was up screaming at 11.30pm, 12.30am, 1.15am, 2.30am and 6.15am last night, I'm exhausted!

We've tried not picking her up and rubbing her back and tummy and shushing her instead but she gets even more upset. She's not wet our hungry either. We changed the cot thinking it might be the mattress (swapped with the grandparents cot) but the same thing happens. Any advice on how to get her back into a decent sleep pattern? I'm going back to work next month and I won't be able to function of this keeps going.

It sounds like teething to me - is there any improvement with calpol? I don't have any advice other than to say these phases will pass. I found co-sleeping worked for us, so we both got more sleep. It's hard - sending energy to you Flowers

It's a month later and she's still waking multiple times a night screaming. We're at our wits end! We tried calpol in case it was teething (she's got 6 teeth now) but it didn't make a difference. We got an olie owl that didn't help either. We tried co-sleeping from 5am till 7 am and she'll sleep for a bit but still wake up screaming and I can't sleep if she is in the bed. She was such a great sleeper until 9 months, I don't know what has changed or why and I'm absolutely exhausted. She's still in our room with is but we were hoping to move her to her own room next week when she turns one but I can't see how that will work when she still waking up so much. Anybody got any advice?

@MariaDingbat
My niece was like this hv told them to move her in to her own room, as it was the noise from them sleep that was waken her out of asleep. Do any of yous snore or that that could make her jump from asleep maybe.
