Is it ok to move 3.5mo moving into cot?

So my 3.5mo sleep has gone down hill over the last 2-3 weeks. Now I’m sure she probably is going through the 4 month regression which is just one of those things we have to ride out.

However she does sleep in her next to me atm and I’ve noticed she always ends up at angle when we wake in the morning. She also seems to like to sleep with her arms outstretched but isn’t Able to do that due to space. She also kicks her legs about lifting them up and down which as I say when she’s on an angle she doesn’t bang them on the side of the next to me. So I’m
Wondering if this could also be contributing to the increased night wake ups as she isn’t always hungry when waking.

I’m wondering if it’s ok to move her from
The next to me into her actual cot. Obviously we will move the cot into our bedroom as she’s still under 6 months. I’m Just wondering if more space may help or sleep or could it make it worse? Any advice/ideas welcome.

I moved both of mine into cots from cribs by 6 weeks because they struggled with banging themselves on the sides. It worked really well.

We moved ours from bed to cot at three months

Our now 10wk old has been in her cot-bed from birth when she wasn't on me. She's been sleeping well at night for a few weeks and will do up to 9 hours. She likes to stretch out and is big for her age, she started out at 10lb 15oz and getting very snug in her 3-6mth clothes now. The bed is very close to my side of the bed so easy to grab her if needed.

Thank you guys I thought it was ok but wanted to check. She’s slept in her next to me last night and has woke up right against the side of the next to me. Definitely not enough space. Will transition her to her cot tonight! X

Absolutely. You can use a cot from birth if you want to
