Best waterproof warm puddle suits?

Hi all,

Searching for a waterproof puddle suit for my 1 year old and 3 year old who spend a lot of time outdoors, especially at their nursery. We have puddle suits from Sainsburys but they're just shower-proof. Looking for something that will keep them dry even in reasonable heavy rain. Would also ideally like them to be lined as winter is coming. Any advice?

I did look at muddle puddles as they specify their waterproof rating, but can't find any in size 3-4 on their website (nor on ebay). Raindrops looks good too but same issue.

Are Jojo Maman Bebe puddle suits properly waterproof? They award themselves 3 stars for waterproofing, but don't specify an official rating (eg 5000mm, 10000mm) which I find odd. Trespass and Mountain Warehouse seem to do them but waterproofing is only 2000 or 3000mm... is that enough?

Would love any advice about good quality, properly waterproof and warm puddle suits! Many thanks!

We have the hippy chick fleece lined all in one. It's great, super warm and waterproof and even though it's quite big on DS it has adjustable cuffs so we just do the Velcro snugly, so it will fit him for a couple of seasons at least.

If you want properly decent kit go for Polarn o Pyret - they have a removable fleece liner so suitable for year round use and are properly waterproof. They also have a lifetime repair service and sell well second hand so even though initial outlay is high, you're likey to get at least half of it back when you sell on.

Second choice would be spotty otter but they don't have the removable lining.

Thank you both SO much! I've just had a look and they all look exactly what I am after! Based on price I'm probably going to order the Hippy Chick one. Really appreciate the info- I'd never even heard of these brands!

My kids always had ReimaTec. Not cheap but perfect for all Scandinavian weathers!

Try the caretec separates.

Lidl and Aldi do the best waterproofs hands down. I buy 2 sets of their separates each year. One for nursery, one for home. Layer them up with fleece suits from decathlon if it snows They are the only ones that last the season. Every other brand gets ripped or isn’t properly waterproof
