Finding 11 month old so stressful sometimes

Constant whining and whingeing. It isn’t constant but it feels like it in the dead hours between nursery pickup and bedtime.

How do others manage?

They call it the witching hour, that timeGrin

Mine's a little older than yours, but it gets better as they get older. I tried to cook dinners that I could do with one hand, or prep ingredients beforehand. That way I could have the baby on my hip as I cooked; there was less whingeing when she was being held.
I distract as much as I can, try and get her to help me with jobs. Or failing that, a bit of CBeebies so she can have a little sit down and rest at the sofa. Or an evening walk in the sling or pushchair, all wrapped up nice and warm. Apparently this is great for helping with sleep too.

Hide in the bathroom with a chocolate bar for a few minutes. Grin

I drink.

Gets better in about 6 months - a year's time when they get into paw patrol in my experience.

Ugh, it’s really hard. They’re so tired and if they’re teething or anything, it always seems worse in the evening.
