My little girl used to be a good sleeper but recently it's getting worse and worse. She would sometimes wake in the night but have a milk and go back to sleep pretty quick. Most other times she's self settle. But recently she'll have wake up and won't settle , even with milk she'll go back down but within an hour be wide awake and shouting and whinging till the point where after an hour or so ill have to get up with her for another hour then try putting her down again. It's becoming exhausting! I thought it might just be a phase but we're now two/three weeks in 😞 please tell me it's just a long phase and she'll go back to be being my good sleeper again ☹️ I'm hoping when she finally susses out walking it'll help!

Have you tried giving her nurofen/anbesol to see if it’s teething pain? Is she warm enough? Getting enough food (3 meals and at least 2 snacks a day)? Is she walking yet?

By "get up with her", do you mean that you are taking her downstairs in the middle of the night and playing with her for an hour and then taking her back up to bed? I wouldn't do this as I think it could create a habit. Have you tried lying down beside her cot (maybe get a spare mattress into her room) and shushing her? Or even co sleeping if that's what it takes?
