Flu vaccine eligibility - The year after having baby

sunshinecitrus1 · 21/10/2021 11:47

I had my flu vaccine whilst I was pregnant at the end of December last year. I am pretty sure I remember my GP telling me at the time that I would be eligible for the flu vaccine this year as well (the year after having baby). I am not sure if I am making this up or not (could possibly be baby brain!) but just wondered whether anyone knew before I attempt to contact my GP! Thanks Xx

You likely won't be on the priority list but could pay for 1 at a chemist

This is part of my job. You are only eligible if you were pregnant on 1.9.21

Thanks @RuthW - I had my little one before this date, on the 12th August, so I am assuming that I wouldn't be eligible and I'd have to book one through the chemist if I wanted it?

No you aren't eligible through pregnancy. Unless you are eligible another way, then it's the chemist.
