Missed 16 week baby jabs!

Gosh I feel a bit awful but I just discovered that I missed the 16 week jabs. For the 8 and 12 week ones I got contacted by my GP surgery with the appointment dates but they I thought they gonna do the same this time but I didn’t get any letter or phone call at all for the appointment.
He’s now 8 months. I’m gonna call the GP first thing in the morning but just wanted the peace of mind that is not that of a big deal and my DS will be fine and I’m not gonna be scolded by the nurse for not coming on time. Blush

I don't think you should be too hard on yourself with this. Normally, the GP would have most definitely sent out a letter with confirmation of your appointment but as we all know, the GP surgeries are not working quite like they would normally at the moment, or in the last year! Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do now other than contact them straight away. The nurse will be able to advise next steps, whether your son is still eligible (which I am sure he will be Smile). I get the impression that your son is a healthy bubba so no damage has been done, just get those jabs as soon as you can and you will feel much much better about things Smile Xx

Don’t worry OP just contact the surgery and they will organise for you. Worth asking if it will affect the timing of his 1 year jabs as they do boosters for a lot of the 16 weeks jabs then so I would just ask if they will have to be delayed and if that’s the case could you have the MMR on time. Xx

Lo will be okay, just get booked in ASAP. It's easy to forget these things. I'd put a reminder for the next lot due on your calendar, around 12/13mth I think for MMR.
