Uppa Baby Vista 2 as a double

Hi,

We currently has the UppaBaby V2 and love it. Just wondered if anyone has converted theirs into a double? Do you like it? Or is it really heavy? With what will be an almost 2 year age gap I’m wondering if it’s worth trading it in for something different? Or is the rumble seat worth it? Is it also easy to see newborn in bassinet below (we don’t have a capsule) and is it easy for both children to nap including one in the rumble seat? Thanks!

We’ve converted to a double for our newborn and 2 and a half year old.
It’s pretty heavy, I have to put my body weight into in to mount the curb. I don’t love that the baby is on the bottom, I have to peer around the toddler to see him. The toddler was used to facing out but had to face in now, luckily he wasn’t bothered about it.
We have the rumble seat but haven’t used it yet. There’s also separate adapters for each seat and they’re not cheap but there seems to be plenty of them second hand where we are.
All in, it’s a solid pram, very safe and comfortable but if I had my time again I would shop around a bit more to see what else is out there for the money we spent.

It's really heavy. I don't like the configuration with the bassinet either, as you can't see the baby easily on the bottom. The silver cross wave is much better in this
