iPhone 11 charger in babies mouth

So I feel absolutely hideous about this!
My 6 month old has a little chair he sits in and plays with his toys- my partner had placed him in the chair on the floor next to our bed where I was laying (after having about 3 hours sleep!) he was next to our bedside table which had my phone charging ontop of, I’ve unplugged my phone not thinking for two seconds to check something and I’ve looked down and my son had the end of the iPhone charger in his mouth having a good old gum on it (he’s teething) I ofcourse shrieked and pulled it out of his mouth and he was absolutely fine just a bit shocked I took it away from him.

There’s no marks in our around his mouth or body I’m just so so worried something else had happened. I don’t know what I was thinking I should’ve checked that the cable landed the other side of the bedside table away from him 😥😩 am i overreacting or do I need to take him to the GP?

I also put said charger in my mouth after and nothing other than my tongue feeling scraped where I ran it around in there so much 🤣

Wow! Maybe it’s download a new update?

Have you checked if he has any additional features?

He'll be fine op.
I know it's scary when they first do it but if he's fine and mouth is as normal it's fine.
Don't dwell on it, lesson learnt to unplug and pull charger out!

As long as the end that was in his mouth is complete it will be OK.

Hopefully a snooze button!

I'd be more worried about the charger not working now than the baby!

girlmom21 · 21/10/2021 08:16

Oh god don't worry - he's absolutely fine. No need to see a doctor.

Ah thank you so much!

It’s in my nature to worry and get anxious so sometimes I need a reality check and this has helped 🥰
