10 month old feeding questions!

Hi!

Just wondering if it's normal for my 10 month old to start refusing milk? He's always been like clockwork with feeds and food etc since being little but recently he just won't drink milk. He will entertain his morning and before bed bottle but nothing else - he just pushes it away. He will happily drink water and eats 3 meals a day but he just won't have milk 😩. Is this normal? Can you give me some examples of your 10 month old babies feeding schedules please? And how much you give them at eat meal? Snacks? He's a great sleeper and goes down from 6.30/7pm until 6am so I'm just hoping this milk refusal doesn't interfere with his sleeping habits. Thanks in advance!

Think from that age around 400mls is recommended and you can include milk in cereal and dairy products in that total. Mine only had am and pm milk at that age too

My baby is a bit younger at 9 months but I'm finding the same. He has 6oz in the morning and before bed, but has about 3 or 4oz midday if he even entertains his bottle at all. He has 3 meals a day also.

I spoke to my HV about it and she said just make sure he's getting dairy from other sources, e.g Yoghurt, cheese, making porridge with formula or full fat milk, etc and consider a vit D supplement.

If they are taking less than 500mls of formula they should be having a vitamin A,C and D supplement

My DS dropped a bottle at 10 month. Nearer 1 when he dropped another.
Try a sippy cup along side food

My DD has just turned 10 months, she also loves her food and is a very good eater. For around a month DD now just her morning and night bottle which she seems happy with xx
