Hi all,

Hoping someone can help. My daughter is 14 months and has been walking since just before her first birthday. But we’re having a nightmare on the shoe front. She’s tiny for her age. She still wears 6-9mnth and from measuring her foot she seems to be a size 2. But finding proper walkers in this size is proving a challenge. She has a pair of Nikes but now the weathers turning we’re trying to find some boots for her.

We’ve tried high street and Clinks. We’re really stuck.
Help please

Do you have a local independent children shoe shop? They tend to be good at advising and stocking a better range

DD was a dinky thing and also was only wearing 6-9 month clothes at a year old. We got her first pair of walkers from Clarks in a size 2. We even managed to get wellies from Next in a size 3 which were ok with 2 pairs of socks.
I see that Clarks now do pre-walker shoes which is probably why they've stopped doing the smallest sizes in their walkers. To be honest a cruiser shoe would probably fine - they don't walk that far at this age and the soles seem sturdy enough to offer a bit of protection. To be honest, the more flexible sole is better for developing feet anyway.
Other brands that we used in the early days include Bobux and Pediped.

My 13 mth old is tiny as well and also wearing 6-9 clothes - I hope her feet grow before she starts walking as she’s not a 2 yet! We got a couple of pairs of Bobux size 2 shoes, normally v expensive, for very reasonable online at tkmaxx so worth a look.

Try startrite they are a bit like clarkes. Unless in sale can be a bit pricey but vinted ebay ect will sell good quality shoes in the same brand for a fraction of the price.

Next has a few boots in size 2 from Clark's, Kickers, Regatta and Geox so you could try those brands.

I had a tiny walker at 10 months, she had Startrite size 2.
