Teething toddler - anyone dealt with this?

My 2 yr old DD is currently cutting her last two molars. She has always been effected by teething, her behaviour is really effected, and she can turn into the devil at times!
Has anyone else had to deal with this while their toddler was teething? And how long did they take to push through?

I would imagine every single parent in the world has dealt with teething children.

Yes it's not easy op!

@highstreetdiestreet you would think... But actually it turns out a lot of children aren't effected when they're teeth are pushing through.

Yes! Mine is having last teeth coming through now. Just grinning and bearing it basically! Lots of patience and cuddles. When it's over you'll know!

@Sophie96326 the patience is starting to wear thin 😂 and I'd cuddle her if she let me! She currently won't let her dad get her ready for bed or things like that either. And, for the first time ever, she got put of bed and came into our room at 6am this morning, gave me a right fright 😂

Yeah I know, ours refuses to get in the buggy and kicks off when cupboard doors are locked! I'm just trying my best to be patient, every though I'm exhausted!

My daughter teethed so badly I was so relieved when they were all through, used to give her ibuprofen on the bad nights. Some kids are not effected at all and those parents are the lucky ones!

Yes! My DD (now 4!) experienced a lot of pain during teething. And then the molars came in and boy did the moods, pain, generally behaviour go off the scale! I remember she got her first set at 1.5 during Christmas and then second set at 2.5, again during Christmas.
It was tough, especially the last set but we got through it knowing it was all done after that set! The relief and freedom we felt after was just so so so lovely!

I now have 8 month old DS. His first set of teeth, he wasn't too bad. And I thought "oh maybe he has a higher pain threshold" but no, he's cutting his top front teeth and he's a mess. I'm now fully expecting him to be just as bad with teething as DD was.

@KylieKangaroo I can't wait for them all to be through! I had a look in her mouth this morning and it looks like one has just broken through the gum but the other hasn't. She hasn't needed any medicine today which was nice, she's been a bit more pleasant!

@princessbananahammock252 (love the username by the way!) It's so hard isn't it! I try to be sympathetic but she still needs boundaries 😂 I hope DS's teething isn't as bad!
