Nursery worker Christmas gifts etiquette

FTM so this world is totally new to me!

DS started nursery a month ago and with Christmas slowly closing in I was wondering if there was an etiquette with gifts or similar?

Do we get just his key workers and the centre Director something (who has been so accommodating to our nursery rotas))? Or are we supposed to get all workers in his 'group/section' (for lack of a better word) something?

I was thinking 3 bottles of wine, one each for the three key people but is that bad form for the rest of the staff?

We usually send in a hamper of biscuits and chocolate which can be shared around the staff room.

I do an individual gift for key worker- chocs or candle usually and send in a tub of chocs or biscuits etc to be shared in the staff room.

For Christmas we do a couple of large tubs of nice chocs or biscuits for all of his room staff as they all look after him, plus I think they put them in the staff room so that also covers the office staff, chef and handyman. The only time we differentiate the key worker is when he moves up a room we give individual gift vouchers to all the room staff with extra for the KW.

This is wonderful!

So if I get something for his key worker and then a big tub or something delicious for the staff room too it would appreciated by the nursery and I'd avoid any unwritten faux pas?
