Family courts

Hi everyone, my daughter is 11 months old and her father has never seen her, he is a drug user, has been reported for harassment towards me and never bothered to contact us through pregnancy or after her birth. He has filed for courts for access of our daughter and they are looking at supervised contact. There is a social worker who has been allocated to the case just to see whether he should be allowed to have contact and how often and she has said it might be supervised contact. Would the social worker stay involved during this time that he’s having contact or will she stop visiting? One very stressed mama. TIA

Sorry I'm not sure about this but from my very limited experience, it will go in your favour if you have a Non-Molestation Order in place.

When you reported him for Harassment, did you report it to the Police?

Yes to the police

So if you're reported it to the Police that's really good. Did they take it seriously? Have you applied for a non-Molestation Order yet?
