How long will it take for periods to return?

You might have ghost periods for 2 or 3 months whilst you return to fertility, particularly if you were still feeding in the early hours before you switched.

Mine didn't return until 11 months pp despite stopping bf at 6 months. GP wasn't concerned and conceived second 3 months after they returned.

Ah that's the thing you don't actually have to wait until the periods arrive to get PG...

I got my period around 8 weeks after giving birth. 5 weeks of that was post-partum bleeding. Tried to BF, but neither I or my child could do it. I would have loved to have not had a period for a long time.

My first was 9 weeks after birth while still breastfeeding exclusively, my second 9 months and my third was 21 bastard days. I was furious.

Mine have come back at 6m with all 3 ebf DC. Enjoy it while it lasts

Mine didn’t come back, but we conceived 16 months post-partum, a few weeks after stopping breastfeeding.

Mine came back at four months despite ebf. I got pregnant again a couple of months later, while still breastfeeding.

It's amazing how different we all are.

Have you POAS just in case they haven't come back because you are PG?

Mine came back 3 weeks after quitting (17 months) and I was pregnant the following month
