Bad Mouthing Parent to Son

Does anyone else have an ex who just bad mouths the other parent to their child? My ex is a narcissist and continues to manipulate our son and bad mouth me. His end game is to have our son go and live with him, even though he never wanted him and left me a year after me giving birth...

He constantly dictates to me what he wants our son to be doing during the week yet only sees him 4 nights a month.

I'm sick of it....

Tell him he can't dictate what you do with your son when you have him, tell him if he continues to behave the way he is when he has your son he can take you to court for further access I'm sure that would not happen as it would cost him to much money, what age is your ds.

Could you set up an email or something similar just for contact between you two (block etc on everything else) then he can't be at you constantly. Record everything. Your poor son having to listen to that.

What would happen if you stopped contact (obviously only if you really thought it was the best course of action and the last resort). Would he really take you to court when he couldn't be bothered with him the first year? Or doesn't see him much?

He is free to take you to court for more contact but it would probably cramp his style too much!

Trust that your child knows their security is with you and love is actions not words. He'll suss it out.
