Covid testing newborn

I was just wondering I’ve been looking everywhere and I can’t seem to find information on it anywhere. Can I test me 4 week old for covid? And how do I go about it? Thanks!

Why do you think they have covid? Have they been exposed to it somehow?

Why do you need to test your newborn? If I had Covid and had to isolate, id be isolating with my newborn baby so it doesn't matter?

How old is your baby? If a new born had a temp or a cough I would be getting them checked out.
