Is anybody there? I am not very good at this talk thing and want to start talk to someone.
I have a soon to be eight year old who is just jekyll & hyde
I also have a 6yo, 3yo and nearly 2 yr old and am an absolute mess.
Hubby is away for the weekend and I am in tears every half hour shouting at them. Worse still he's bringing up very old fashioned grandma and uncle to stay for a few days. I have been cleaning and hoovering, but the kids just keep mucking it up again.
My 8 y o girl won't tidy her room and the 3yr old has just thrown at her all whole packet of dates around the GOOD living room.
Add to this that I have just come back from TESCO - nightmare trip with four kids- which ended with youngest walloping me 3 times on the head with toy telephone putting him into the carseat!
I honestly think TAKE THEM AWAY!!!!!! I have made a huge mistake having so many children and want to leave. I am so tired...

Does special victims unit count ?> or will that give me ideas.... I am finally back on at 10 after putting the eldest and youngest to bed. the wee one refused to go to bed without seeing Dad but finally gave in after I left him.
I am Definitely going to do the soft toy thing - toy telephones are HARD I was bludgeoned three times at point blank range!
I have been considering online tesco for ages but - because we have a wee tesco metro village equivalent they won't deliver!
I set the eldest to work babysitting whilst tidying her room - that worked too!
I'm afraid the tummy bug doesn't work as DD3 has had diahorrea (spelling!!!) for 4 weeks and is anaenemic because of it. Unfortunately half the party are out from Australia so a visit is inevitable!

The old farts are very funny and good company, but I like to give a good first impression and it's the first time uncle b has been here.

The kids Grandma usually runs around here like a mad thing trying to get "on top" for me and drives me mental. She is a bit poorly so I don't want to stress her.
Trouble is she's pretty houseproud; so I've left her 22 hubby's workshirts if she wants to stay busy

I am feeling much better now - funny that seeing as the kids are all asleep. Hopefully I'll get some sleep and a lie -in tomorrow seeing as they were all up late tonight.
Thanks to all your helpful comments. I would have locked them in a cup'd or something had it not been for your support...
Thanks everyone
