Please can any one provide a good weaning book or recipe website for my soon to be 6month son 😇x

We can see this thread is quite old now, but if you’ve landed here looking for weaning books, we’ve recently updated our best weaning books page with plenty of great options tried and tested by Mumsnet parents. We hope you find it useful. MNHQ Flowers

Anabel karmel weaning book was ace. I still use a recipe for pasta sauce from it now and my dd is 11!!!

Baby Led Weaning by Gill Rapley was my favourite.

‘What Mummy Makes’ is great. You just want to feed them the same food you eat, so this is full of recipes the whole family can eat. You don’t need purées or single foods, just feed them anything (with the only exceptions being whole nuts, honey and salt). Have fun with it - I’ve got a 7-month old DD and I’ve absolutely loved weaning her, and she’ll eat anything. Lunch today is chill con carne with rice Grin
