What's the one baby item/equipment/accessory you can't live without and the one which you thought you needed but never use?

Oops I just realised under my 'worst' I meant to say the schnuggle bath seat and stand!
The angle care has been FAB

And yeh @RandomCatGenerator it is so variable isn't it, the scnuggle bath was highly
recommended by a friend but we just couldn't get away with it. I think people are probably best taking the list and then looking into things with the pros and cons highlighted and thinking what really works for them

Thanks for all your responses... and, of course, every parent finds different items useful or not useful!!
Muslin cloths came in very useful for my very sicky ds1, but also has lots other uses!
The baby bath has been mentioned quite a bit!!!!! For me, I couldn't do without it... at least I have two hands free!!

Bought an expensive Moses basket, DS slept in it once and then slept in this on my husband's side of the bed (he moved into the spare room ha!), until he was ready for his proper cot. It folds away so easily, easy to bring downstairs / other people's houses etc... and he was always comfortable and slept really well.

This and a sleeping bag rather than covers.

@NappyQuestion22
That looks really cosy and comfortable... and practical too!

The mattress on that doesn't look like it meets safe sleep guidance, just to say (annoyingly that's probably what makes them more likely to sleep on it!)

There is a lot of stuff on amazon which is imported and doesn't meet our safety standards. If it's not a brand you can buy in shops then be careful.
