Should I give my son vitamin drops I've read on the nhs that all children from 6months should get vitamins but don't the formula that they drink have all the nutrients they need I've started to give my son 3meals a day but not all homemade some are pouches 🙈 because I'm a student midwife sometimes I don't have enough time to cook him homemade foods but I will start trying to do so.

They need vitamin drops if having less than 500ml of formula per day!

In our area they give free vitamin drops for all babies under 6 months and recommend they continue after that too (only low income families get them free 6mth onwards).

As PP said only need vitamin drops after 6 months if breastfed or having less than 500ml of formula. Also please don’t beat yourself up about pouches! They’re fine xxx
