Calpol after vaccination without fever

My ds is 8 weeks old and had his jabs yesterday. He had a fever above 38 degrees about 7 hours after the vaccination so I gave him 2.5 ml of Calpol. This morning he had a normal temperature but he moaned and seemed to be unsettled so I gave him 2.5 ml of Calpol even though his temperature was normal. Is this ok?

You're supposed to give 3 spaces out doses of paracetamol after the 8 weeks jabs as standard due to the MenB vaccine
