4 week old sounds congested

My baby is 4 weeks old and keeps making very weird sounds from his nose like it’s completely blocked. It’s like a barking/snorting sound. He was born via c section.
I’ve been the docs today and they’ve checked him over and they aren’t concerned.
Just feel so worried. Has any one else experienced this?

He’s drinking/ sleeping/ going the toilet as normal, I should have added that.

This is quite common for c sec babies, I believe, something to do with lung maturity/ fluid in the lungs. As long as they are feeding well the Gp won't be concerned, but you could always pop back to maternity triage at the hospital where they can check him over a bit more thoroughly, measure oxygen saturation etc. Is he flaring his nostrils, that might be a sign that he's struggling to breathe.
Has he just started making the noise, as he could have caught a little cold.

He’s been making it on and off for like a week then last night it seemed worse but I don’t know if that’s because I’m more aware of it.
His nostrils are normal, not flaring. I feel in such a panic
I will call triage. Thank you so much

Always call or take him in if you're worried.

C section babies do have more fluid as they've not had the pressure of the birth canal.. that might not be what this is though if it's just started a week ago. Tryst your instincts if you feel some things not right then listen to that.
