10 mo - how much milk? and what type?

My DD is almost 10 months old. I mostly breast fed her until 2 months, but then moved onto bought stuff. I've only ever used the pre-made bottles, and currently using Cow and Gate no 1. She was drinking 5 (200 ml) of these a day (as well as solids since 6 mo).
Her nursery asked recently why she was on "1" and not "2", and I just thought you were supposed to stay on 1 until 12 mo, and then whole milk. I looked on the NHS website, and it doesn't answer this but says she should be on 500-600 ml a day. I've reduced her to 800ml from 1000ml a few days ago, and all seems fine, but I've carried on using the 1 type.
Anyone any experience on this? I just want to do what is right. My DD is small for her age, but perfectly healthy, and advanced in most respects. She is very accustomed to and happy with solids, although still has no teeth.

We stay on the 1st milk ill 12mo - it's fine. My 10 mo has 3 X 8oz (220ml) bottles a day plus 3 meals plus snacks, think the lunchtime bottle might go in the next month because she's starting to not drinking it all.

*she's starting to not drink it all.

It's been a long day. Grin

NHS advice is to keep them in first stage milk until they are one so not really sure why Nursery are questioning it.

Between 10 and 12 months the recommended amount is 400 ml dropping to 300 ml of full fat cow's milk at 12 months.

My health visitor advised there's no reason to change on to stage 2 or follow on milks. These were created purely because they are not allowed to advertise stage 1 milks as breastfeeding should be encouraged. My dd is almost 10 months and drinking stage 1 although she only has 1 7oz bottle in the morning as she prefers food now and refuses any more bottles

Thanks for all this.
I'll keep her on 1 then, but try to reduce amounts. She's gone down from 1000ml to 800ml no problem, but I want to do it gradually, to get her used to it and give her time to eat more food too.
