Vaseline under nose

Sorry another post about my daughters cold

I don't want the skin above her lip to get sore from wiping

Would it be ok to put plain petroleum jelly Vaseline on her skin to prevent this?

Or is there something better to use?

Of course it's ok!

If you have any lansinoh left over from breastfeeding days, that's also excellent.

I used to do that with my son. It's fine.

Kleenex balsam tissues will help prevent the soreness and I'd use sudocrem to protect the skin.
