Not the first time exactly, she had a settling in session last week (and was fine!)

She’ll be there 3 hours twice a week.
Shes 5 and a half months 🥴

Feeling a little bit like my heart is outside my body.

Tell me what wisdom do i need to know?

That 99% of the time they are having a whale of a time while we are sat worrying and getting upset. I promise.

I remember those first days so well with both DS and I cried and worried and stressed. Them? They were fine and thoroughly enjoying the day.

Even if they take a while to settle, they do. This is far worse for us than it is for them.

Takes a while to feel better but it does I promise.

Our childminder was amazing and my daughter loved it there and learnt so much; it was the perfect start to her education in a really homely environment. At such a young age she should settle well as separation anxiety does usually start till nearer 1. She'll love watching the other kids there. The childminder will probably tell you what she's done in detail.
