Potty training support thread

I had a potty training thread during lockdown for my eldest and it was a great support! Anyone else starting or thinking of starting? My eldest was 26mo but my second is only 22mo now but seems to be showing strong signs of readiness so I’m thinking we’ll bite the bullet soon and go for it…

Some encouragement would be great for sure, hope also some positive tips. Mine is 23m (started when he was about 20m) and is OK when at home (commando) but the minute pants go on, it's all gone. Nursery insists on pants and pull-ups (he was in cloth before) so that does not help. All a bit up and down, he was sick too which did not help, then I was sick, which was even worse.

Ahh that sounds tricky Zoo, what method did you use?
