Just a quick one on BLW, when/if they bite off a big chunk themselves (for instance a carrot stick steamed and halved lengthways, and a 2cm chunk off the end) do I just leave her to it to chew or spit out or do I hook it out her mouth? She's 6 months so just starting out.
Most if the time she's fine but sometimes when she bites off a big chunk i panic and get it out her mouth!

Leave them. You putting your fingers in their mouth is much more likely to cause them to choke.

Yup. Leave it. The whole point is letting them work it out themselves. You’ll freak her out if you keep hooking stuff out and give her the idea food is unsafe.

Oh god okay, thanks both! I've only done it this evening so hopefully not caused any carrot related trauma haha! Will refrain from hooking out going forward
