Son has just started a nursery which goes on to year 1 then feeds into another bigger primary school. We have an unusual opportunity to move him to the bigger school next year.

Pros are:
Bigger school is nearer us (5 minute leisurely cycle vs 15 minute if very fast!)
Much nicer premises (outdoor space, classes etc). Current school in a more polluted place
He will be going there any way in year 2

Cons are:
He takes a while to settle so might be nice to be in a small (same) school while he is young
Staff at current school are really lovely
Current school is nearer my parents who do pick up (but still need to get him back to us!)
Moving early is not usually done so feel a bit bad about it!

Wwyd? Thanks in advance!

I would move him, otherwise kids will have started to make friends in reception and year one when he joins in year two, so it might be harder for him to settle in then than it would be now when he's little.

Move him- will eventually, best to get that out the way when younger
