Help! Dummy is ruining sons teeth!

Hi,

My son is 2 next week and is dummy crazy! Honestly he wants it 24/7. I have noticed it has now started to affect his teeth. The top set are very curved. I now want to obviously try and fix it so know the dummy needs to go! I'll be honest with you I find it easier when we're in the house but sometimes we can be out shopping in the middle of Sainsbury's and he will suddenly kick off screaming for his dummy and sometimes I'll just give it to him to save the ordeal and stress.
Obviously I know this isn't the right thing to do. Does anybody have any advice or tips on what I can do?

Bin the lot, go dry turkey, it’s the only way!

It will be a hard few days but they do forget.

Yep bin it. We went cold turkey when they hit their first birthday. Only took a couple of days (yep they were pretty upset) before they forgot. You just need to be strong and don't cave!

Throw them all out.

Distract, distract, distract.

It’s more about you and your tolerance than them, basically. Do it now before he gets any older.
