Mam size 3 teat too big

MAM bottle users…

After a suggestion from someone I moved up a teat size. 4.5 month old has been chewing on teat, getting frushtrated, turning away but then coming back like he wants more.

I tried size 3 mam teats and he like downed it in 2 mins and gagged and spilled everywhere so I think it’s too fast.

Did anyone else have this problem with MAM size 3 teats and what did you do to resolve it?

We are struggling with size 2 because he’s on comfort milk so it’s slightly thicker but 3 is too big.

Any suggestions? 😊

I used to have to put carobel in my LOs milk and had to go to teat3.
He also gulped it down in minutes and then looked at me as if to say wtf where's it gone 😂
He soon got used to it and managed to get a good pace, until he managed that I used to pull the bottle away to give him a breather

This is exactly what happened to us. It's as if MAM need to do a size 2.5! The 3 was just too big and we continued with the size 2 which felt like he took forever to drink from. We eventually moved him to a size 3 some time later (unfortunately I can't remember what age), and he drank it perfectly without any choking/gagging/spitting etc which told me that he wasn't ready for the size 3 when we'd tried previously

I had to make mam size 2 years slightly bigger myself with a sterile knife
