8 month old feeding / nap routines

Hi,
Just looking for some advice on my 8 month old routine. He still wakes every 45 minutes throughout the night and wondering if there's a change in his routine that might make his sleep better. He also still has several smaller bottles a day rather than larger feeds so wondering if this could be improved on. This is a general day for us:

Wake 6:30-7:00
Milk bottle 7-7:30 around 4-5 oz average
Breakfast 8-8:30
Nap 9-10:30
Milk bottle 11-11:30 around 4oz average
Lunch 12-12:30
Nap 13:00-14:30
Milk bottle 15:00-1530 around 4-5oz average
Dinner 17:00
Bath 18:30
Milk bottle and bed 19:00 (recently only taking 3oz)
He then proceeds to wake every 45 minutes or so for resettling (sometimes just a pat and a cuddle other times it takes half an hour to resettle him)
We used to milk bottle feed again around 11pm but he is now only taking around 3oz. He then proceeds to wake continuously - the maximum he has gone is about 2 hours but that is rare. Once it gets to about midnight he wants resettled every ten minutes most nights! I end up bringing him in my bed where he does sleep but still wants cuddles and wakes frequently.
Can anybody see anywhere I can make some changes that may be beneficial...should he be dropping a bottle and then perhaps have more before bed or anything like that? Or is it just I have a cuddly baby who can't self settle yet!!

My daughter was exactly like this at 7–8 months, waking 8–12 times a night. What helped was gentle sleep training with the gradual retreat. You don’t say whether he’s falling asleep on his own or not, but that was our issue. If he’s already falling asleep alone, you’d need advice on how to push him a bit to join up his sleep cycles.

Btw we went from 8–12 wake ups to 2 the very first night of sleep training, to one the second night. Then 3 months of a single wakeup, and after that 12 solid hours a night for a good few years now.

His routine is the same as my DD’s at that age. How are you getting him to sleep? There is a sleep regression at 8 months - is this a recent thing or been going on a while?

@DressedUpAtAnIvy @Vicky1989x thanks for your replies! So he was always held for naps and sleep until he was 5 months old, he had bad reflux and it was the only way he would sleep. I started to get him to sleep in his cot from about 7 months old but he always has woken every 45 minutes or so. I can put him down sleepy and walk away and he falls asleep but he can't seem to settle himself back when he wakes up apart from the rare occasion. I've tried gentle sleep training but he gets so worked up in literally seconds...goes

@DressedUpAtAnIvy @Vicky1989x sorry he pressed the post button on my phone before I was ready...doesn't want me telling his secrets hahah! He goes from zero to 100 in seconds literally when he wakes he's screaming straight away. I don't think it's a regression I think it's just his sleep habits!
