When you child struggles with teaching style

Ds 7 likes his class teacher but on a Wednesday has a HLTA who is "stricter and shouts" He got himself into a state this morning saying he doesn't want to go in etc.
Hes resilient usually so this is out of character tbh.Ive basically explained that he can't like everyone who teaches him and as long as he's doing the right things in class then he'll be fine.Is this the right approach?

Hmm I think you’ve done the right thing but bumping for you! Maybe subtly see if any of the other mums children have mentioned it? Unfortunately some teachers still shout (although not as common as it used to be IMO) but I’m surprised there would be much shouting at primary!
