Hello,

I’m taking my DD to Dubai later this month. Please can anyone advise what to take for the plane/beach/any tips in general please?

Thank you so much 🥰

As little as possible, at 5 months we travelled surprisingly light. See if your hotel can arrange for nappies as they are bulky to take otherwise you just need baby safe sunscreen, hat, buggy, light clothes. Unless you are bottle feeding then you'll need all that paraphernalia. I didn't do Dubai at that age but did CA in summer which was baking

Nappies, I took a travel mattress that folded up easily in case I wasn't happy with the cot, lots of vests/grows won't wear much else, if FF check what water to buy over there, travel steriliser, wipes... I'm sure there's more but can't remember now!

Thank you both so much! I’m BF so hopefully won’t need much more than what you’ve helpfully suggested to take :)

Take a hat to pull over LO's eyes and ears to help with sleep and to keep head warm if the air con is too strong.
You should try and give your LO a drink whilst taking off and landing to relieve any pressure in his/her ears. Either that or encourage them to suck your finger or a dummy (that works for longer!).
If you're taking a dummy, bring a dummy clip to attach it to LO so it doesn't fall on the floor.
Make sure you have at least one change of clothes on the flight and bring a spare top for yourself. Just in case!
Even though you'll probably get given blankets by the airline on the flight, still take LO's own blanket as it will have a familiar smell and texture.
You can get Calpol and Ibuprofen sachets. Perfect for travel in handy 5ml size.
Pack a plug in night light for getting up in the middle of the night for feeds or nappy changes etc..
