16 week jabs

Just wondering how your LO’s were after their 16 week jabs?

DD’s appointment came through for the day we drive to Cornwall. The jabs are scheduled for the morning and we were planning on leaving early afternoon. How were your LOs after their 16 week jabs? Is it wise to have them on the same day as a long car journey? (We will obviously be making stops) but just unsure if she might be too unsettled and want cuddles rather than spending time in the car. Wondering whether to re arrange for when we are back.

She was really sleepy after her first sets of jabs

Thoughts?

I think all kids react differently but if I was in your shoes I'd rearrange for a day when you don't need to be anywhere.
My DD was fine after all her immunisations but DS has projectile vomited ( once all over a picture DD was colouring to make him feel better ) after each set! I wouldn't have fancied trying to clean the car after him being sick. He was fine in himself.

@Elmo230885 haha oh bless him!
Yes, I think you’re right. Will probably be best to re arrange to avoid any upset!
