Anbesol - Been using it more than 7 days

Hi all,

I just read on the packaging that shouldn't be used on baby for more than 7 days per teething episode and I'm sure I'm been using it way too long.

I feel really cr*p that I didn't see that part and now I'm worried. I read that they could absorb the active ingredients? Could anyone shed some light please?

The concern with anbesol is that it contains lidocaine which can in rare cases cause a bad reaction, I think if it was going to happen it would have by now so try not to worry. I would say only use it when you’re certain it’s teething, when you can feel the tooth under the gum.
