Ok so, I really struggled through the baby stage and I am enjoying being a mum much more now my kids are bigger but something I’ve been feeling lately that I can’t shrug off is that in some weird way things can feel harder!
It’s the juggle of getting kids to where they need to be - school/nursery. Work having more expectations on you to have your family life in order (long gone is the mat leave). Grandparent help isn’t nearly as frequent anymore, now it’s not baby cuddles and trips to cafes. My husband has picked up his hobbies again and so I just feel in general there’s just so many activities to manage and the time I spend with my kids I can feel myself losing my patience really quickly.
I sometimes just feel a huge pressure to be and do so much for them.
Not really looking for solutions but wanted to let off steam and see if anyone else knows what I’m talking about. Or, if you have older children does it get easier?!
