I'm 5ft 8 and we have a zeta vooom. Super lightweight and maneuverable. We had a double version for our twins and that lasted really well for school runs and dog walks, up and down lots (was the folding parts that wore out 1st). I got current one for newborn in plum for £70, that was for stroller, thick footmuff and better raincover (we got a smaller one included with stroller).

Define cheapish and what weight of child are you looking for it to take?

We really struggled as we are both tall, I'm 190cm and the main problem was the folding ones is not the height but the fact I'm kicking the wheels all the time because they're too close. Hope that's useful info.
We ended up getting a Nuna one which was excellent but doesn't fold well and is heavy and expensive. So that part of my post may not be so useful, although look around for second hand ones.

We are also both very tall - I'm 5'10 and DH is 6'3. We had an Uppababy Cruz for the main pushchair and a Baby Jogger City Mini as the lightweight choice (tho it isn't that lightweight really!)

We also had the kicking the wheels issues, particularly with Joie and Silver Cross. Make sure you get a pushchair with adjustable handlebars!

Anything Joolz. It’s a Dutch brand, so made a bit taller.

I’m 5ft 9 & DH 6ft 2. My 6ft female cousin recommended it to me.

Thank you very much everyone will check them all out now and yes I hadn't thought of kicking the wheels that would be very annoying

We had a Brittax that had adjustable handles. Not sure if they still make them as mine are 10 and 12 now. I had a really good sturdy buggy from them.

We have the Cruz and I’ve decided I don’t rate it for tall parents. Tall parents have tall children and the Cruz doesn’t accommodate that. DD2 is just 2 years and is too tall for the Cruz.
