Baby putting head forward when in car seat/chairs

Hello all,

First time mummy here to DD thats 3 months old.

Dd has always been really good in her car seat but recently has been putting her head foward (as if to try to sit up), but also is able to put her head back again independently. I've noticed her doing this in baby chairs too.She has a joie 360 spin isize car seat (which I think has fitted her well from birth).

Just wondering if this is a normal development milestone, or whether I need to get an additional aide to help her keep her head back when in the car seat?

Thanks xx

She's fine.

As long as the straps aren't too lose.

I had the same with the joie 360 car seat. She has now thankfully grown out of the phase of her head leaning/flopping forwards. I was told it is a case of trial and error with the different inserts, although I'm not convinced it made any difference to be honest!

Around the same age my lo started doing the same thing! Still does it sometimes but it was a bit of a phase where he did it every time he was in the car seat x

My little girl did the same, she stopped after a couple of weeks :)

Anything you add that doesn't come with the car seat itself won't be safe. Hoeofully she will grow out of it soon.
