Hi

Which baby monitors do you recommend, I would like one that is video as well as audio. No budget just looking to see what you think are the best ones for me to have a look at.

Thanks

I have the BT 5000 one, I think. Not the best..... annoying low battery alarm that can't be silenced Envy Their previous ones were AMAZING!!!! But they changed supplier SadSadSad

however, we chose it because it works by radio frequency only and has no connectivity whatsoever to the internet or possibility of being hacked. That was a must for us

Bt 6000 we have and are really happy with it. We didn't want any fancy wi-fi or whatever, but we did want video.
Enough battery for a nap and evening sleep, but it does beep for about a minute then switch off when the battery is low. You can charge from a decent phone charger if necessary.
It has all sorts of funny modes eg music and whatnot, but we don't bother with that, just turn it on and off.
The main benefit of the video over audio only is we can see when he's ready to get up even if he doesn't make a noise nowadays, and we can laugh at the funny positions he sleeps in!.Grin

Agree with @johnd2. Video is good! The kids don't need to cry Smile you can see them sitting up and looking patiently at the door waiting for you to come

@johnd2 so with the bt6000 do you charge that once a day and that would do overnight?

I seen there was a smart version of the bt ones too but I think the only advantage is you can use your phone as a screen and it has Alexa and google.

Overnight I would have it connected to the power but for naps you don't want to be anchored somewhere Wink

Ahh I see so it can be both that’s good Smile I didn’t realise people can hack these what is the world coming to Angry

Yes as above we also charge overnight and use it mobile for naps.
Overnight we don't really use it but the screen is so bright it's useful as a nightlight for us.
Ours was a present but it was about 100 pounds from Argos.

Wow that’s a good price it’s £140-150 most places I have seen it. This was the one I was swaying towards. Thank you

As it's Black Friday I want to make the most of the offers. I was thinking of getting one of the new Bluebell monitors as my friend recommended it, has anyone else used it? I can only find info on the old ones so being a bit nervous before I make the investment. My friends didn't get on with the owlet which was another one that I was looking into as well.
