Neocate… your experience?

I have been told by the go that they think my son (14 weeks)has a cows milk allergy. He was going to the toilet with every feed and sometimes in between. He has never been a sicky baby I could count on one hand how many times he has been sick but the last couple of days he is bringing some up when I wind him. He’s currently on a mic of neocate and his usual milk 4:2 as I was told to slowly introduce it as he was point blank refusing to take it.

When I google vomiting and neocate it’s of course all the “bad” experiences I was just wondering if your baby has been on this what was your experience?

I've not used it but the usual advice is to add vanilla essence or nesquik to get them to take it. You're not really going to know if it's is CMPA until all of his usual milk has been stopped.

I was bf as well, just topping up with neocate until she was no longer starving. Ds had to be topped up with nutramigen as well when my supply couldn't keep up with demand.
Add vanilla essence and sugar both mine started to refuse it when they were getting enough from me.

DD stopped pooing constantly and the vomiting did reduce when cows milk was eliminated. She's still a vomiter at 13 months

Used this with DS who was cow milk intolerant after trying Nutramigen which wasn't successful.

He thrived on Neocate, but would try and keep on the radar of any consultants and we seemed to only see dieticians who changed fairly constantly.
