Best car seats

Looking for a car seat that will last a couple years at least.
LO is 7 months at moment so I'm looking for one that is rear facing and will do until he is older.
There are so many out there with mixed reviews. Weve tried different ones but so far they have had to be returned one way or another.
I'm limited on budget but obviously not going to skimp on something important if its going to last.
Which car seat would you recommend?

What percentile is he for weight and height as that will make a difference to what seat you get and how long it will last. I recommend joining the car seat safety group on FB. We have a Joie 360 as my DS is petite and I know this should last him until he is 4. If he is nearer bigger and over the 50th percentile it won't last as long.

He was 97th centile height at 4 months and is still fairly long. But he's around 50th for weight so it's the height that's that's issue.

My dd1 was on the 91st percentile. We got a britax max way and a two way elite. Both rear face until 25kg. Axkid mini kid is supposed to be good. The fb group is great for advice.

@Timeless10 the height limit for the Joie 360 is 105cm so I would look at the height chart to see when he would approximately hit that to see how long you'd get from it.
