Teething- swollen gum pics attached

Hi, my 19 month old has had a cold for the last 4 or 5 days now. Snotty nose, dry cough, just generally unwell but she is also cutting a tooth. I had a look this morning and wondered would you be worried about her gum? It's has been very swollen for about 2 weeks but you can feel the tooth coming now. The gum now looks quite red and I just hope it's not infected. Should I get it checked or is this just teething?

Hmm, that does look swollen and sore. I don't think my kids ever had anything like that.

I'm tempted to say, I would get that checked out, to err on the side of caution.
