Sleeping too long??

Hi! For the past few days my 10 month old has been sleeping for 14 hrs straight! 7pm until 9am! I'm certainly not complaining but was wondering if this is normal? Has anyone else had this? Also, should I be adjusting her day naps if she is sleeping this long at night??

I'd just leave her be and enjoy the peace! Never mess with a decent sleep is my motto!

Mine used to do this
She was a fantastic night sleeper but would never nap longer than 20-45 minutes until she dropped them about 18 months old
I remember she would always do 12-14 hours a night until about age 3 unless ill

Thanks for your responses. Do you think this could be an indication she's ready to drop to 1 nap?! She doesn't seem to want to sleep when I put her down for her second nap at around 3pm.

I think it is wonderful that your daughter has such a good night's sleep. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it so enjoy it! However be prepared for this pattern changing at times.

If she wants to nap during the day, let her nap.

If it's working fine don't spoil it!

Mine slept really good at the age, (no 9ams very jel of that) and it swiftly changed so enjoy whilst you can!

If she is sleeping that long then she must need it. Enjoy it while it lasts!
