hiya

going shopping soon to look for a book about puberty for dd1 age 9

i'm thinking of casually wrapping it up for christmas present so it's not a big deal, lol

as i've posted about her before, she has hemiplegia so it's a bit complicated, but i think she is started down the puberty road: i'm sure she has got little boobs starting but i don't know if it's just puppyfat (although she's not overweight) and her moods are pretty swinging..although that might just be her hemiplegia and having a tough time at school etc, so i'm not sure

but i started periods at 11 and apparently you do follow your mum's pattern so i need something that she can read as and when she wants, not too young and not to old: not too little info, but not too much info all at once, lol

had anyone had a good book for this age group?thanks in advance

I've had this one recommended to me but not managed to get hold of a copy yet.

I got DD1 (10) this. It is pretty good although she appears to have no interest in actually reading it yet.

I ordered it from our library but they only had the boys version

But if the girls is anything like, it's very good!

I need something for ds - will try to find the boys version.
