Bruises on babies legs

Hey everyone, so I'm abit concerned as my 10 month old DS has came out in bruises on his legs and I don't know how or why. He can't walk yet but he is crawling. It's only started happening recently but he seems to come out in a bruise every other day now. Do you think it's down to him crawling? I will ring the doctors too I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else's baby? I have attached a couple of pictures. Thanks.

That looks like normal bruising on a mobile baby.

Totally normal! Since DD became mobile she has been bruised like that constantly.

Yeah they get bruised from crawling along the floor, sometimes bumping legs on toys, jerking legs around when moving from crawling to sitting. They don’t look like really bad bruises though.

Yeah they're bruises around the knees on a child who's using their knees to move around. You don't need to see a doctor.

Normal - My 16 month olds legs look exactly the same!
