Hi Mumnetters,
My lo is almost 4 months old and she started rolling from back to front when she turned 3 months. She abs dislikes tummy time but will have this urge to roll everytime I put her down. As soon as she's on her tummy will start crying, some days she'll enjoy a couple of minutes before howling away to glory. I'm quite exhausted constantly having to turn her back. And tbh she goes into a horrible mood which extends until her next feed or sleep, everytime that happens. I'm so petrified that some days I just hold her, put her in a bouncer or place an obstacle so she doesn't roll. But I do think not putting her down or letting her do her thing will hamper her development.

I was wondering how long does it take for them to learn to roll back or even enjoy being on the tummy once they start rolling? Also any tips to make the situation better?

TIA..

I remember this with my oldest and it was very frustrating. She learnt in about 2 weeks to roll back I think. I just kept encouraging her to learn how to roll back. I used to have to go into her room so many times in the night as she would roll and then get upset she was stuck, I used to say to my ex husband I was off to flip the baby again. It feels like forever when they they go through these stages and is hard, but it won't last forever.
