How long is too long

Getting married next year, son will be almost 3, is a week too long to leave him? Should we just do two nights in probably the wet and cold uk? Haha

I think it depends on how close he is with who you are leaving him with. If it's a grandparent that he's spent nights with before then totally fine. If it's someone that he hasnt spent the night with then maybe they'd need to spend some more time with them in the run up to it. Is your son going to stay at home or at the person's?

I think it's completely personal preference. I could leave mine for a week, especially to get married and spend time alone, together. I know many won't agree though

DD was 3 when she spent 4 nights with her grandparents whilst I went into hospital to have DS. She was fine, loved the attention etc. But she was used to staying with them.

Would he my sister, she has a son 18 months older. He has stayed there twice but just for one night each time but planning on him staying there more frequently now it's allowed. Thank you xx
